As you will be aware, the Sport Inverclyde Grant Award Scheme has been administering the award of grants to individuals, (both athletes and coaches) and clubs for some considerable time.

However, the Sport Inverclyde Executive Committee has been in discussion recently with the organisers of the Inverclyde Sports Personality Awards and both have agreed to a change in the existing system in that the organisers of the Inverclyde Sports Personality Awards will now receive and administer all grant applications received from individuals while the Sport Inverclyde Grant Award Scheme will receive and administer all grant applications received from clubs and coaches.

First Aid Course Monday 4th and 11th February 6.30 - 9.30, Greenock Cricket Club. 

The course is limited to 12 places so please get your names in as quickly as possible.

The course though subsidised by Sport Inverclyde will cost £30 per. person.  Once you sign up for the course full payment will be expected.  Full payment to be paid on the first evening of the course.  Payments can be made by cheque made payable to Sport Inverclyde or paid directly into our Bank Account details are as follows:

This year the winner of the Scottish Association of Local Sports Council's Service to Sport Award was given to Peter Gormley of the Greenock Wanderers for the wonderful work he has done as a Volunteer at the local rugby club. Richly deserved, we congratulate Pete on winning this award
