SPORT INVERCLYDE – GRANT AWARD PHOTOGRAPH

Sport Inverclyde's Secretary Andy McGilp is seen presenting grant cheques to Jean Benson of the Greenock and District Badminton Association, and to David Downie from Port Glasgow Angling Club.

David, from Erskine is one of Scotland's top anglers, and has been selected to represent Scotland, as captain in the forthcoming Spring Fly Fishing international in Ireland, and later in the year in the Home Internationals in Wales. This award will assist him with the expenses he incurs whilst representing his country.

The award to the Greenock and District Badminton Association, will assist with the costs related to staging their annual championship at Greenock Sports Centre.
