a summary of issues and details of programmes run by sportscotland and its
partners to help achieve a positive sport environment. It will cover such
areas as child protection, corporate governance, equity including women,
girls, and sport, race etc. You will find this at

The Scottish Institute of Sport
The SIS has a new website,
www.sisport.com,
which will be regularly updated with current news and information and will
be worth a look every so often.
Website
Sport Inverclyde’s website ( www.sportinverclyde.org)
has been updated to include general information about the council and grants
available, grant forms are available to download, and the membership
affiliation form can be downloaded also. Clubs are requested to download
grants forms from the web site in the first instance (if possible) rather
than the Secretary. Members are invited to make requests for content they
wish to see on the site such as minutes or links.
If your club has achievements, news or photos you would like to include
in the website then please let us know.
Changes at Awards for All
Awards for All has been running for 6 years and in that time 171 grants
have been awarded in the Inverclyde area with sums up to £5000.
There have been some changes to the application form and the eligibility
criteria, which may make the grants accessible to even more groups.
Groups with an annual income of more than £20000 can now apply for Awards
for All unless the project is about sports or the arts.
Foreign trips can be applied for, again, unless the project is about
sports or arts.
Applications will still be accepted on the old forms until March 2005.
The new application pack is available on line at
www.awardsforall.org.uk/scotland/apps_pdf.html
or telephone 0845 600 2040 to get a paper copy.
Awards for all Scotland is looking at how they might change in future –

feedback, please email
